Becoming a Member
The New Member Class is designed for all who want to explore and/or become a follower of Jesus with membership at St. Matthew.
It is multi-week experience designed to assist those joining the journey toward spiritual maturity as a committed follower of Jesus.
The goal of this experience is to assist individuals in:
- Understanding essentials truths for renewing and growing in a relationship with God
- Learning Biblical truths that are distinctive to our denomination
- Becoming familiar with how life in Jesus is lived out with His people at St. Matthew
- Taking the next step in growing spiritually with God’s people at St. Matthew
At least one week prior to attending class, please complete the "New Member Class" form found 
HERE and return it to the church office or email to [email protected].
Becoming a member of St. Matthew involves three things:
- Taking the New Member Class.
- Upon completion of the class, individuals will have a personal interview with a spiritual coach to assist in developing a plan for individual/family spiritual development. This will also be a time to ask any questions about St. Matthew that have not yet been answered.
- A formal public celebration for those joining St. Matthew.
