Seniors

The mission of Senior Ministry at St. Matthew Lutheran Church (Walled Lake and Wixom) is to promote various opportunities for individuals, ages 60+, both within, and outside the St. Matthew community that will meet the individual needs in areas such as, but not limited to, spiritual and/or personal growth, social/relational, as well as care and support. Motivated by Christ's love, the Senior Ministry will seek to serve our church and community across all age levels using the gifts and wisdom God has given each individual during his/her lifetime.

Senior Bible Study, Open to All "Young at Heart" Seniors

Handy Helpers

Our Senior Ministry currently has a team of individuals who are available to assist anyone needing a helping hand around the house with some light handy work type tasks.  Please contact the church office (at 248-624-7676 ext. 100) to request assistance.

Grief Support Available

Have you, or someone you know, recently lost a spouse or loved one?  Following the loss of a loved one involves numerous major life changes.  Having someone who has walked this journey can sometimes offer  some helpful ways to help you walk through this difficult journey.  We will have “Men-helping-Men,” and “Women helping Women.”  Please contact the church office (248-624-7676 ext. 100) to get connected with some loving support.
