Lenten and Easter Worship

This Lenten season we are reflecting on the life, suffering, and death of Jesus through a study of the Gospel according to Luke. This meditation will prepare us to celebrate and experience the joy of His resurrection on Easter. Please join us for worship on Sundays and Wednesdays during the Lenten season. Wednesday services will be preceeded by a light meal at 6:00pm at the Walled Lake campus, unless otherwise specified.

Lenten and Easter Worship Schedule:

• Wednesday Lenten Worship - 7pm Worship with fellowship and meal prior to worship (at Walled Lake Campus at 6pm unless otherwise indicated)
  • February 26 - Ash Wednesday - 6pm Meal at Walled Lake, 6:30pm Meal at Wixom

  • April 1
• Sunday, March 29 - 4:30pm -  International Easter Celebration (Walled Lake) www.st-matthew.org/InternationalEaster
• Sunday, April 5 - Palm Sunday (regular worship schedule at both campuses)
• April 9, 7pm - Maundy Thursday worship (communion) (Walled Lake)
• April 10, Good Friday worship - 1pm with communion, 7pm Walled Lake Service of Darkness, 7pm Wixom with communion
• April 12 - Easter Sunday worship (See www.st-matthew.org/Easter for full details.)
  • Walled Lake (no Bible Adventure, Youth or Adult classes)
    • 8:15am Festival Worship with communion (sanctuary)
    • 9:40am Festival Worship (sanctuary)
    • 11:00am Prayer & Praise Worship (gym)
    • 11:15am Festival Worship (sanctuary)
    • No Monday worship
  • Wixom (no Bible Adventure, Youth or Adult classes)
    • 9:00am New Vintage Worship
